A car is moving on a road with a constant speed of 10m/s. The raindrops are falling towards car with the velocity of 5m/s at an angle 53°with vertical . Find the velocity of raindrops w.r.t car.

NOTE: tan53°=4/3

tan53°=   velocity of car/velocity of rain

so,

4/3= 10/velocity of rain

velocity of rain = (10×3)/4=30/4

so velocity of rain is 7.5 m/s

The velocity of rain is 7.5 m/s
