Three squares are joined together as shown in Fig. 6.14. Their sides are 4cm, 10cm and 3cm. Find the perimeter of the figure.

Perimeter of the given figure = 54 cm.

Explanation:

Three squares are joined together as shown in Fig. 6.14. Their sides are 4cm, 10cm and 3cm. Find the perimeter of the figure.

In the above figure now it is clear that which part of figure should be considered for perimeter.

So perimeter = 4+4+4+6+10+7+3+3+3+10 = 54 cm
