Best answer

Area of the right triangle = 12 × (base × height) unit2

(i) b = 20 cm

h = 40 cm

Area = 1/2 (b × h) cm2 = 1/2 × 20 × 40 = 400 cm2

A = 400 cm2

(ii) b = 5 feet

Area = 1/2 × b × h unit2

= 20 = 1/2 × 5 × h sq. feet

(20×2)/5 = h

h = 8 feet

(iii) Area = 1/2 × (base × height) unit2

24 = 1/2 × b × 12 m2

base = (24×2)/12 m = 4 m

Base = 4m
