Approximate area = Number of full squares + Number of more than half squares + 12 × Number of half squares.

= 10 + 5 + (1/2 × 1) Sq units. 

= 10 + 5 + 1/2 sq. units

= 15 1/2 sq. units 

= 15.5 sq. units.
