(ii) Using ntegration, find the area of the region bounded by the triangle whose vertices are (1, 0), (2, 2) and (3, 1).

(i)

Required area ΔABC = Area ΔAB2

+ Area 2BC3 – Area ΔAC3

Equation AC is y = 2(x – 1)

Equation BC is y = 4 – x

Equation AB is y = 1/2 (x – 1)
