Best answer

A simple pendulum which ticks seconds is a second pendulum. Its time period T = 2 s. If l is the length of this pendulum, then

\(T=2\pi\sqrt{{\frac{l}{g}}}\)

Or  l = \(\frac{gT^2}{4\pi^2}\)

\(\frac{9.8\times2^2}{4\times(22/7)^2}\) = 0.99 m
