A simple harmonic motion of amplitudes A, has a time period T. What will be the acceleration of the oscillator, when its displacement is half of the amplitude?

Acceleration,

\(\alpha =-\omega^2y=-\frac{4\pi^2}{T^2}\times\frac{A}{2}\)

\(= - \frac{2\pi^2A}{T^2}\)
