Best answer

Let m ∶ n be the ratio in which the points A(x1, y1, z1 ) − (2, 4, −3) and B(x2, y2, z2 ) − (−3, 5, 4) is divided by the XY plane.

So, z-coordinate is zero

\(\frac{mz_1+nz_1}{m+n}=0\\=\frac{m.4+n(-3)}{m+n}=0\\=4m=3m\\=m:n=3:4\)
