During winter, the metallic handle of a wooden door appears colder than the door itself, though both are at same temperature. Why?

During winter, the door and handle’s temperature is the body temperature. Therefore, heat flows horn the body into the object touched. Since, metallic handle being a good conductor takes more heat from the finger touching it, we feel cold. Wooden door being a poor conductor takes less body heat and appears less cold.
