Show that the points (-3, 2), (-5, -5), (2, -3) and (4, 4) are the vertices of a rhombus. Find the area of this rhombus.

 A(-3, 2), B(-5, -5), C(2, -3) and D(4, 4) be the given points.

Since AB = BC =CD = AD and diagonals AC ≠ BD

Therefore, ABCD is a rhombus

Area of rhombus ABCD=(1/2)xACxBD
