Calculate the length of the arc of a circle of radius 31.0 cm which subtends an angle or \(\frac{\pi}{6}\) at the centre.

Angle, θ = \(\frac{l}{r}\)radian

From questions, θ = \(\frac{\pi}{6}=\frac{l}{31}\) 

⇒ length, l = 31 × \(\frac{\pi}{6}\) cm

\(\frac{31\times3.14}{6}\)

= 16.22 cm

≈ 16.2 cm
