1. Increase in concentration of DDT (non biodegradable) from the water bodies (0.003ppm) to the final consumers like king fishers (2 ppm) is due to increase in cone, of DDT in successive tropic levels

eg. Phytoplankton → Zoo planktons → Fishes → King Fishers) of food chain.

2. It affects ca metabolism and finally premature breaking of egg and declining bird population.

3. Bio magnification.
