Stern: firm, strict, uncompromising, harsh, hard etc. 

Boom: 

(a) deep, prolonged, resonant sound

(b) to progress or flourish 

(c) to hit hard  

Hatch: 

(a) to bring forth, produce.

(b) derive, concoct 

(c) to draw, cut, or engrave lines 

Anchor: 

(a) a person or thing that can be relied upon for support 

(b) host of an event.
