Best answer

Given

A= {-2, 2} and B = {x ∶ x ∈ 2, x2 − 4 = 0}

∴ x2 – 4 = 0

(x – 2) (x + 2) = 0

x = -2, 2

B = {-2, 2}

Hence, A = B
