Best answer

Equation of a line in normal form is x cos a + y sin a = p

Given, p = 2, sin a = \(\frac{4}{5}\) ⇒ cos a = \(\sqrt{{1} − (\frac{4}{5})^2}\) = \(\frac{3}{5}\).

⇒ x.\(\frac{3}{5}\) + y.\(\frac{4}{5}\) = 2

⇒ 3x + 4y – 10 = 0, is the required equation of the line.
