We need to remember the following while shooting or firing : 

i) Our ears should be covered as firing makes a sharp noise that can damage our ear drums .

(ii) We need to hold the gun properly with proper technique as according  Newton's Third Law of Motion "TO AN ACTION THERE IS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION " means the force that the gun will produce to the bullet is equal to force the shooter have to experience.
