4 equal charges of 2.0x10-6 Coulombs are situated at the corners of a square of side 1meter. Find the electric field at the center of the square.

Diagram according to the given question is, 

 

Now,  direction of electric field at the center of  the square is as given below.

 

Electric field due to A and Electric field due to C are in opposite direction and same in magnitude( due to same charges present at A and C and corners have same distance from the center ) so it cancels each other.

Similarly, Electric field due to B and Electric field due to D  are in opposite direction and same in magnitude( due to same charges present at B and D and corners have same distance from the center ) so it cancels each other.

So, net electric field at center of the square is zero.
