  • Contribution of particles from one corner = 1/8
  • Contribution from 8 corners = 1/8 × 8 = 1
  • Contribution from 6 face centres = 1/2 × 6 = 3
  • Total number of particles present in the unit cell of the crystal = 1 + 3 = 4
  • Number of atoms present in one unit cell of Ag = 4.
