Best answer

1. Either a p- type or a n-type semiconductor.

  • Ge dopped with In → p-type
  • Si dopped with B → p-type

2. The formula of the compound

Q = 4

No. of tetrahedral voids = 2N = 2 × 4 = 8

P = 1/3 × 8 = 8/3

Q8/3P4 = Q8P12 = Q2P3
