The pressure of a monatomic ideal gas γ =5/3 doubles during an adiabatic compression. What is the initial volume to final volume?

We have the relation,

where the subscript i denotes the initial pressure and volume, f denotes the final pressure and volume.

But γ = 5/3 for monatomic ideal gas. Now taking the power of 3/5 on both sides,
