x = aeθ(sin θ - cos θ) and y = aeθ (sin θ + cos θ)

x = aeθ(sin θ - cos θ)

Differentiating with respect to q, we get

Again,

∵ y = aeθ (sin θ + cos θ)

Differentiating with respect to θ, we get
