Best answer

x2y (3 – 2x2y) – 1 (3 – 2x2y)

= 3x2y- 2x4y2 – 3 + 2x2y

= 2x4y2 + 5x2y – 3

Putting x = -1 and y = -2, we have

= [(-1)2 (-2) – 1] [3 – 2 (-1)2 (-2) = [-2 (-1)4 (-2)2 + 5 (-1)2 (2) – 3]

= (-2 – 1) (3 + 4) = - 8 – 10 – 3

-21 = - 21

Therefore,

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, verified
