Sum of two rational numbers = -2

One number = $\frac{-14}{5}$

Let the other rational number = x

Now,

$\frac{-14}{5}+$ x = $-2$

$\Rightarrow$ x = $-2-\frac{-14}{5}$

$\Rightarrow$ x $=\frac{-10-(-14)}{5}$

$\Rightarrow$ x $=\frac{-10+14}{5}$

$\Rightarrow$ x $=\frac{4}{5}$

Therefore, the other rational number is $\frac{4}{5}$
