Best answer

Let the fare be Rs x

No of cardboard 12 294
Thickness(mm) 35 x

\(\frac{12}{35}\) = \(\frac{294}{x}\)

On cross multiplication, we get

12x = 35 x 294

x = \(\frac{35\times 294}{12}\) = 857.5

Therefore thickness of the cardboard is 857.5 mm
