A motorist travelled 122 kilometres before his first stop. If he had 10% of his journey to complete at this point, how long was the total ride?

Total distance travelled before first stop = 122 km

 Distance completed at first stop = 10 %

 Let total distance to be travelled = x km

 So,

\(= {X} =\frac{122\times100}{10}\) 1220 km

∴ Total distance = 1220 km
