Present population of town = 60000 

Percentage increase in population annually = 10%

 Hence , 

Population of town after 2 years = present population \(\times[{\frac{100+\text{% increase}}{100}}]\)time (time in years)

\(={60000}\times\frac{100+10}{100}\times\frac{100+10}{100}\)

\(={60000}\times\frac{110}{100}\times\frac{110}{100}\)

= 72600
