Let the present age of Son is x year

Present age of father is 5x years

Son’s age after 6 years = (x + 6)years

Father’s age after 6 years = (5x + 6)years

According to the question:

Therefore present age of Son is 6 years

Present age of father is 5x = 5 \(\times\) 6 = 30 years
