Let the numerator is x

Denominator is 2x - 2

Fraction = \(\frac{Numerator}{Denominator}\) = \(\frac{x}{2x-2}\)

According to the question:

Numerator and Denominator are increased by 3, then fraction is \(\frac23\)

Therefore numerator =7

Denominator = 2x - 2 = 2 \(\times\) 7 - 2 = 12

Therefore fraction  = \(\frac{7}{12}\)
