Best answer

Given,

Rate of VAT = 10%

Cost of motorcycle including VAT = Rs. 17600

Let the sale price = Rs.x

\(x+\frac{10x}{100}\) = 17600

\(\frac{11x}{10}\) = 17600

= x = \(\frac{17600\times 10}{11}\) = Rs. 16000

Hence,

Sale price of motorcycle = Rs.16000
