Given,

List price of washing machine = 900

Discount = 5%

Selling price = \(\frac{95}{100}\)x 900 = 8550

VAT = 10% of 8550

= \(\frac{95}{100}\)x 8550 = 855

Total money customer has to pay = 8550+855 = 9405/-
