Best answer

Given,

Population of town 3 years ago was = 50000

Annual increasing in 3 years = 4% ,5%, 3% respectively

Let present population = X

So

\(=50000({1}+\frac{4}{100})({1}+\frac{5}{100})({1}+\frac{3}{100})\) = x

\(= 50000\times\frac{26}{25}\times\frac{21}{20}\times\frac{103}{100}\) = x

= x = 56238

Hence,

Present population of town = 56238
