A milk container is 8 cm long and 50 cm wide. What should be its height so that it can hold 4 litres of milk?

Given,

Length of milk container = 8 cm

Width = 50 cm

Volume to hold = 4 litre = 4000 cm3

Let height of container = h cm

So,

= l x b xh = 400

= h = \(\frac{4000}{50\times 8}\) = 10 cm
