Best answer

(i) Given,

r = 3.5 cm

h = 40 cm

Volume = πr2h = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x 3.5 x 3.5 x 40 = 1540 cm3

(ii) Given,

r = 2.8 m

h =15 m

Volume of cylinder = πr2h = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x 2.8 x 2.8 x 15 = 369.6 m3
