Best answer

Given,

Cross section area of pipe = 5 cm2

Speed of water = 30 cm/s

Time = 1 minute = 60 sec

so,

Volume of water flows through pipe = Area of cross section x speed of flow x time

= 5 x 30 x 60 = 9000 cm3 = \(\frac{9000}{1000}\) = 9 litre
