The pie chart given in Fig. represents the expenditure on different items in constructing a flat in Delhi. If the expenditure incurred on cement is Rs. 112500, find the following

(1) Total cost of the flat.

(2) Expenditure incurred on labour.

(1) Expenditure incurred on cement = \(\frac{Central\,angle\,of\,the\,sector\times\,Total\,cost}{360^\circ}\)

Total cost of the flat = \(\frac{360^\circ\times112500}{75^\circ}=540000\) rupees

(2) Expenditure incurred on labor = \(\frac{Central\,angle\,of\,the\,sector\times\,Total\,cost}{360^\circ}\) = \(\frac{100^\circ\times540000}{360^\circ}\) 

= 150000 rupees
