Given x= √6 + √5

X2 = 11 + 2√11

\(\frac{1}{x^2}\) = 11- 2√11

So, x2 +\(\frac{1}{x^2}\) – 2 = 11+ 2√11 + 11 – 2√11 -2 = 22 - 2 = 20.
