In Fig., if \(\frac{x}{y}\) = 5 and \(\frac{z}{x}\) = 4, then the value of x is

Given,

\(\frac{y}{x}\)= 5

y = 5x

And,

\(\frac{z}{x}\) = 4

z = 4x

From figure,

x + y + z = 180°(Linear pair)

x + 5x + 4x = 80°

10x = 180°

x = 18°
