Given, 

Perimeter of a parallelogram = 22cm

Longer side = 6.5 cm 

∵ AB+BC+CD+DA = 22cm 

Let length of shorter side = x cm 

= 2x + 2 × 6.5 = 22 

= 2x = 22 - 13 = 9

= x = \(\frac{9}{2}\) = 4.5 cm
