The curved surface area of a cylinder is 1320 cm2 and its base had diameter 21 cm. Find the height and the volume of the cylinder.

Given,

Curved surface area of cylinder = 1320 cm2

Diameter of base = 21 cm

So, radius of base =\(\cfrac{21}2\) cm

= 2πrh = 1320

Hence volume of cylinder = πr2h = \(\cfrac{22}7\times\cfrac{21}2\times\cfrac{21}2\times \) 20 = 6930 cm3
