The first term of an A.P. is 5, the common difference is 3 and the last term is 80

To find:

the number of terms.

We have a = 5, d = 3 an = 80

From the formula an = a + (n -1) d

Number of terms is:

Hence the number of terms in a given A.P. is 26.
