Best answer

In factorization, we write the middle term of the quadratic equation either as a sum of two numbers or difference of two numbers such that the equation can be factorized.

\(7x+\frac{3}{x}=35\frac{3}{5}\)

⇒ 7x2 + 3 = 178x/5

⇒ 35x2 – 178x + 15 = 0

⇒ 35x2 – 175x – 3x + 15 = 0

⇒ 35x(x – 5) -3(x – 5) = 0

⇒ (35x – 3)(x – 5) = 0

⇒ x = 5, 3/35
