Best answer

To be the solution of the equation the value x = – 3 should satisfy the given equation x2 + 6x + 9 = 0

Putting value of x on L.H.S

(– 3)2 + 6 x (– 3) + 9

⇒ 9 – 18 + 9 = 0 = R.H.S

Hence x = – 3 is the solution of given equation.
