Best answer

a = 40, d = 37 - 40 = - 3

Let, an = 0

a + (n -1) d = 0

40 + (n -1) (- 3) = 0

- 3n = - 43

n = 43/3

Since, ‘n’ can’t be a fraction

Hence, the answer is no
