Six point masses of mass m each are at the vertices of a regular hexagon of side l. Calculate the force on any of the masses.

AB = C

(AC) = 2 AG = 2.l.√3/2 = √3l

AD = AH + HJ + JD

= 1/2 + l + l/2

=2l

AE = AC = √3l , AF = l

Force along AD due to m at F and B

Force along AD due to masses at E and C
