The volume of a hemi-sphere is 2425\(\frac{1}2\) cm3 . Find its curved surface area.[ use π = \(\frac{22}7\)].

Volume of hemi-sphere = \(\frac{2}3πr^3\)

⇒ \(\frac{2}3πr^3\) = 4851

⇒ r3 = \(\frac{{4851}\times{3}\times{7}}{{22}\times{2}\times{2}}\)

⇒ r = 10.5 cm 

Curved surface area = 2πr2

\(2\times\frac{22}7\times10.5^2\)

= 693 cm2
