Best answer

Side of square = 10 cm

Radius of inscribed circle = \(\frac{side}2\)

Radius of inscribed circle = \(\frac{10}2\) = 5 cm

Area of inscribed circle = πr2\(\frac{22\times5\times5}7\)

\(\frac{550}7\) = 78.5 cm

Radius of circumscribed circle = \(\frac{diagnal\,of\,square}2\)

\(\frac{\sqrt2a}{2}\) = \(\frac{\sqrt2\times10}{2}\) = \(5\sqrt2\)

Area of circumscribed circle = πr2

\(\frac{22}7\times5\sqrt2 \times 5 \sqrt2\) = \(\frac{22\times50}7\)

\(\frac{1100}7\) = 157 cm2
