Given,

Perimeter of sector of circle = 272 m

Radius of sector = 5.7 m

Perimeter of sector = \(\frac{θ}{360}\times2πr + 2r\) = 27.2

\(\frac{θ}{360}\times2πr\) = 27.2 - 11.4

= \(\frac{θ}{360}\) = \(\frac{15.8}{2πr}\) (Equation first)

Area of sector = \(\frac{θ}{360}\times2πr^2\) (Second equation)

Put value of \(\frac{θ}{360}\) from equation first to second,

\(\frac{15.8}{2πr}\times2πr^2\)

\(\frac{15.8\times5.7}{2}\)

= 45.03 cm2
