Amoeba

1. In amoeba, there is no any special organisation through which they can capture their prey or food. This means that amoeba can capture food from any region or any side or part of their body.

2. In them, there are appendeges which have structures like fingers called pseudopodia by which they catch the food substances.

Paramecium

1. They have specific region by which they can capture their prey, that is, through oral groove.

2. Cilia helps them in catching the food substances.
