Best answer

In one revolution, the roller will cover an area equal to its lateral surface area. Thus, in 1 revolution, area of the road covered = 2πrh

= 2 x (22/7) x 42 cm x 1cm

= 2 x (2/7) x 42/100m x 1 m

= (264/100) m2

In 750 revolutions, area of the road covered

= {750 x (264/100)} m2

= 1980 m2
