Total numbers of elementary events are: 6 being a dice having six faces

Let E be the event of getting a prime number

The favorable outcomes are: 3, 4, 5,

Total number of favorable outcomes are = 3

P (number between 2 and 6) = P (E) = \(\frac{3}6\) = \(\frac{1}2\)
